Though recorded during the first three months of 2021, Thoughts & Abandonment is not a rebirth or reset. Rather, it's an exploration of past and present. Of simple pleasures and complex emotions. Faded memories and online schedules. Whimsy and existential dread. And white-hot noise embedded with shards of melody.

Technology is meditated throughout the album — especially discarded devices from our recent past which were quickly adopted and then as quickly abandoned. Also, the never-ending joy of discovery — whether as child or adult — which follows us as we (hopefully) continue to open ourselves to new experiences and ideas.

It's no accident drones are the foundation (and focus) for all 19 tracks; our world's natural hum. The flow of life everlasting. This sustain is all around us. Now just listen. And #DroneOn.
